The Sofirn SD05 3000 Lumen 100m Throw Rechargeable Diving Flashlight with 21700 Battery is a compact, purpose-built light designed for underwater exploration and outdoor use, ideal for scuba diving, snorkeling, and emergency situations. For example, its 3000-lumen output can illuminate a path up to 100 meters, ensuring reliable visibility in underwater environments. With a magnetic rotary switch interface and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn SD05 for Outdoor Use suits divers, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use

The Sofirn SD05 features a Cree XHP50.2 LED with a 6000K-6500K color temperature, delivering a maximum output of 3000 lumens with a beam throw of 100 meters, powered by an included 21700 Li-ion battery (4000mAh). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a magnetic rotary switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

Turbo: 3000 lumens for approximately 1 hour
High: 1000 lumens for approximately 2 hours
Medium: 300 lumens for approximately 5-8 hours
Low: 100 lumens for approximately 8.5 hours
The flashlight does not have built-in charging; it requires an external micro-USB charger (included), taking about 4-5 hours with a 5V/1A charger. It has an IPX8 waterproof rating, suitable for submersion up to 100 meters, and is designed to withstand underwater pressure, though prolonged use on Turbo may generate heat, requiring careful handling.
Durable and Compact Design

The Sofirn SD05 is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with a hard-anodized finish, offering durability and corrosion resistance for underwater and outdoor conditions like diving or trekking. It measures 132mm in length with a head diameter of 25.4mm, weighing 108g without the battery (approximately 148g with the included 21700 battery), making it suitable for pocket or gear carry. The flashlight features a magnetic rotary switch, a tail stand capability, and a lanyard attachment, though its smooth body may lack grip in wet conditions.

Designed for Outdoor and Diving Use

The Sofirn SD05 3000 Lumen 100m Throw Rechargeable Diving Flashlight with 21700 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for divers, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts needing a reliable light for underwater exploration, emergencies, or outdoor activities. For example, its 8.5-hour low mode ensures extended runtime for dives, while the IPX8 rating supports deep submersion, though the magnetic rotary switch UI requires practice to cycle through modes (rotate to adjust from low to medium to high to turbo), and both ends must be fully screwed in to maintain waterproofing. The robust construction enhances its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to prevent corrosion. The SD05's affordable price, included 21700 battery, and diving capability make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for external charging and heat management.
