The Sofirn SD09L 6800 Lumen 542m Throw Rechargeable Diving Flashlight with 2x 21700 Battery is a powerful, robust light designed for underwater exploration and outdoor use, ideal for scuba diving, cave exploration, and emergency situations. For example, its 6800-lumen output can illuminate a path up to 542 meters, ensuring exceptional visibility in challenging underwater environments. With built-in USB-C charging, a push-button switch interface, and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn SD09L for Outdoor Use suits divers, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use

The Sofirn SD09L features three SST40 LEDs with a neutral white light, delivering a maximum output of 6800 lumens with a beam throw of 542 meters, powered by two included 21700 Li-ion batteries (each approximately 4000mAh). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a push-button switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

Turbo: 6800 lumens for approximately 1.5 minutes (steps down after initial output)
High: 2000 lumens for approximately 2 hours
Medium: 500 lumens for approximately 8 hours
Low: 100 lumens for approximately 20 hours
The flashlight charges via a built-in USB-C port, taking about 5-6 hours with a 5V charger, and includes a battery level indicator that shows power status for 5 seconds after turning on (green for 75-100%, flashing green for 50-75%, red for 25-50%, flashing red for less than 25%). It has an IPX8 waterproof rating, suitable for submersion up to 100 meters, and features an enhancement driver for stable output, though prolonged use on Turbo may generate heat, requiring careful handling. It also includes a low voltage warning when the battery drops below 2.8V.
Durable and Compact Design

The Sofirn SD09L is constructed from A6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a hard-anodized finish and a toughened mineral glass lens, offering durability and corrosion resistance for underwater and outdoor conditions like diving or trekking. It measures 48mm in width, 26mm in thickness, and 251.1mm in length, weighing 221g without batteries (approximately 301g with the two included 21700 batteries), making it suitable for gear or wrist strap carry. The flashlight features a push-button switch, a slot for a thicker wrist strap, and double O-ring seals, though its larger size may limit pocket portability.

Designed for Outdoor and Diving Use

The Sofirn SD09L 6800 Lumen 542m Throw Rechargeable Diving Flashlight with 2x 21700 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for divers, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts needing a reliable light for underwater exploration, emergencies, or outdoor activities. For example, its 20-hour low mode ensures extended runtime for dives, while the IPX8 rating supports deep submersion, though the push-button switch UI requires practice to cycle through modes (single-click to cycle through low, medium, high, turbo, double-click for strobe), and the automatic lockout feature (after 1 minute of inactivity, unlocked with a double-click) may need adjustment for quick access. The robust construction enhances its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to prevent corrosion. The SD09L's affordable price, included 21700 batteries, and diving capability make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for heat management and charging logistics.

The package includes:

Sofirn SD09L Flashlight
2x 4000mAh 21700 Li-ion Batteries
Wrist Strap
USB-C Cable
User Manual
Note: Ensure the flashlight is turned off or locked (double-click to unlock after automatic lockout) after use to prevent accidental activation, which could drain the batteries; the push-button switch can be sensitive. Use the included 21700 batteries with proper polarity (positive terminal toward the head), and remove the insulating stickers before first use or charging. The IPX8 rating supports submersion up to 100 meters, but both ends must be fully screwed in; avoid prolonged submersion beyond rated depth. Handle with care during Turbo mode to avoid burns due to heat buildup, and do not shine the light directly into eyes due to its intensity. Store in a dry place to maintain reliability, and use a 5V charger (not included) for optimal charging. Unscrew the tailcap half a turn during storage to prevent self-discharge.
